The Project Management Institute's (PMI)® Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® certification requires the candidate to bring 2000 hours of general Project Management experience, 1500 hours of Agile Project Management experience, 21 training hours in an Agile specific curriculum.
The Agile development approach enables cycle time reductions through lower process overhead and more efficient and responsive practices. Its benefits have also been adapted outside of the IT environment to benefit other types of projects.
